ForeverFit was established by the Board of Directors in 2023 to ensure that the HeartFit program thrives for generations to come. The need is growing but only about 30% of eligible patients attend cardiac rehabilitation. This initiative aims to see HeartFit providing care long into the future for all who can benefit, regardless of financial prowess, by an excellent staff with options for those who are physically distant.

Why have a Will or Trust?

If you have not yet prepared a will and – surprisingly – about two thirds of all Americans have not, this encouragement is our gift to you because there are several important reasons for creating one, whether or not you include HeartFit:

  • To lower estate taxes.
  • To ensure that those you love and causes you care about receive benefits as you intend.
  • To significantly reduce the burden on those who are left to handle your estate.

Forms of Planned Giving – Ways to Give

By including HeartFit for Life in your estate planning, you can make a profound impact on the future of heart health for our participants. Here are some options for you to consider:

  • Include a bequest in your will
  • Add HeartFit For Life as a beneficiary of an IRA, 401K or other qualified retirement account
  • Name HeartFit For Life as a life insurance policy beneficiary.

I have included HeartFit for Life among my legacy gifts because of the tremendous service it has been providing to me and our community for over 50 years. The cardiac rehabilitation program that includes guided exercise and nutrition classes, and medical advice and support – all under the supervision of a highly experienced team of nurses, exercises instructors and nutritionists – has proven to improve and extend participants’ quality of life.
