Program Directors
Robin Wedell, RN, FPCNA (Director)
Robin has over 30 years experience working in cardiovascular nursing both in primary and secondary prevention and is dedicated to helping individuals reduce their cardiovascular risk. She received her BSN from Illinois Wesleyan University. She has worked as an educational consultant, research nurse, and co-authored publications in the realm of cardiovascular nursing. Robin served as Co-Chair for the Northern California Regional Chapter of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association, where she was inducted as a Fellow in 2010.
Donna Louie, RN, CDCES, FPCNA (Associate Director)
Donna’s passion and career have been in the field of cardiac rehabilitation where she enjoys working with individuals to recognize and reduce their cardiovascular risk in a positive, wellness oriented environment. She received her BSN from UCSF and is a certified diabetes care and education specialist. She has worked in cardiovascular disease prevention research, has co-authored a book chapter on cardiac rehabilitation and served as Co-Chair for the Northern California Regional Chapter of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association, where she was inducted as a Fellow in 2010
